On Tuesday the 18th of June, ten members of staff from Warners Solicitors will join the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk to do a 10km walk and support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.
We will be walking alongside the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to support the London Legal Support Trust (LLST). Over the past 20 years, our collective efforts have raised an astounding £10.5 million, enabling hundreds of thousands of individuals to access justice when they need it most.
Currently, the funding gap for legal advice in the UK has nearly doubled to over £30 million, placing immense strain on free legal advice providers. Many individuals are unable to afford legal assistance, and without increased support, they risk being denied justice in critical times.
In London, 25% of residents live in poverty after housing costs, which can have a devastating impact on individuals. With the ongoing cost of living crisis, your contribution will make a significant difference in ensuring that those in need receive the legal support they deserve.
